Iconic Batman Villain is set to appear in Peacemaker for HBO Max (Exclusive)

All eyes are set on DC Fandome for the upcoming releases on both their theatrical front, as well as the smaller screen and streaming. With big theatrical projects like Shazam: Fury of the Gods, The Flash, Black Adam, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, as well as their slate for HBO Max, DC’s future is certainly promising to say the least. One project that fans are most looking forward to following his incredible debut in The Suicide Squad this year is Peacemaker, with his spinoff series on HBO Max. And while many details regarding the plot of the show are scarce at the moment, there is one character we can confirm will be appearing in the show slated for release next year.

According to our sources Bane, the iconic Batman villain will be making their DCEU’s debut early next year on HBO Max appearing in James Gunn’s Peacemaker show. Bane, one of the most iconic villains in DC universe, has appeared twice within the Batman movie series that have taken place over the years, the first time was in Batman & Robin and truly wasn’t the best representation of this character. When he was bought back to the screen in The Dark Knight Rises, Bane was expertly portrayed by Tom Hardy and set the bar for future appearances of the character in the DCEU.

Bane is one of the most beloved villains in the Batman series both thanks to his comic origins and his featured appearance in The Dark Knight Rises. We don’t know for sure what Bane’s role in Peacemaker could mean for the future, however, just hearing that there are plans for him in the DCEU is exciting news in itself.
