How Latveria (and potentially Doom) might fit in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” (Rumor)

With Black Panther: Wakanda Forever coming out in a few months later this year (given the hope it won’t get delayed again), rumors have started to emerge from multiple sources about the plot of the movie. Some pit the idea of seeing multiple Wakandans poised to take the mantle of Black Panther, taking place during a war between the people of Wakanda and the people of Atlantis, led by the potential antagonist of the film, Namor. Right now though, the biggest rumor is the idea of Doctor Doom being introduced in the MCU at some point during the film. Personally, to me, that doesn’t make any sense, but that doesn’t mean that an Easter Egg to set up Doom couldn’t be happening.
Rumor has it, from a number of sources, that Doom’s home turf, the fictional country of Latveria, could be an Easter Egg for the film’s sequel. In the film, there’s supposedly a scene set during a United Nations meeting, similar to the ones we’ve seen during Captain America: Civil War and Black Panther. The idea would be for Latveria to be one of the countries that will be attending this meeting and offer itself an alliance with the people of Wakanda during the said convention. Doom himself won’t be making an appearance since he is not particularly involved in the politics of his country as of yet, but this scene, if it panned out true, could be a clear indication of Victor Von Doom’s existence in the MCU.
